Two Nights in the Rain: On the Trail of Filming Outlander Season 4
Two intrepid Outlander fans brave stormy Scottish weather to bring us behind-the-scenes shots from filming Outlander Season 4. (more…)
After my wonderful gap year in Scotland I’m back in Australia, still enjoying the world of Outlander from afar. I’m a relative newbie to the Outlander world, first seeing the show in 2015, and since then it’s been a wild ride. I was hooked from the start and I read all the books in quick succession then started on the audio books – great company on long drives or walks. Then I became further immersed when I got the gig as a writer here at Outlandercast. It is a lot of fun and I have met so many great people on my Outlander journey both in person and online – international connections and friendships. Looking forward to another trip to Scotland in the not too distant future – she said hopefully!

World Outlander Day came a bit early to Falkland, in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland. I’d been in Scotland exactly a week to the day, the first week of my ‘gap year’ … my relocation from Australia to Scotland, with Outlandish adventures in mind. What better way to finish a...
People have many ways of dealing with Droughtlander. Some obsessively rewatch episodes, others re-read the books for the nth time, others have tiny forays into the world outside Outlander. Some decide to walk. Walk, trudge, march (caper about?) and just generally get moving in a forward direction. It gets the endorphins...
You might recall that I had the great opportunity to travel back in time to the 1940s, all thanks to the magic of Outlander season 3 filming. If you missed my first post detailing my day on the set in Glasgow last September, you can catch up here before continuing on...
It was 8:30 am on a crisp and sunny September morning in Glasgow. And there I was, at an Outlander film shoot. I could scarcely believe that all my planning, and a fair measure of good luck, had brought me here. I’d arrived in Scotland from Australia only two weeks...
