Kendra is a poet and actress, most notable for her work as a Marilyn Monroe Tribute Artist. She loves storytelling in all its various forms and fell in love with Outlander 15 years ago, on the suggestion of a colleague. She grew up in south FL and currently resides in Japan with her husband, Jordan, and son, Anton.

In *real* life – and I mean, my non-Outlander life — I am a lobbyist for a multi-national technology company and work with politicians and government officials every day. I love what I do. But, love might not be strong enough a word to describe how I feel about Outlander. Before retiring to raise my four little beasts – I was a corporate event planner. I love Outlander, like, LOVE. I was preggo with beast # 4 and tripped over the STARZ masterpiece in all its muddy, bloody glory. I was hooked, down the rabbite hole – GONE. Then Ep.8 left me hanging in that window with Jamie ( it was cozy, he smelled fab) and I was LOST. I scoured the internet and found Outlander Cast. Summer 2017 I met the lovely Mary Larsen and a few of our super-writers at the OC Brunch. Hilarity ensued and I won the grand prize, an invitation to join the staff of Outlander Cast. My job at OC? Anything they ask of me. I coordinate events like the Finale Party, Meet-Ups, and lot of the content on the FB Pages. I dabble in OC promo and I’m a proud Book Club Moderator.

I am a wife, mom, grandmother and a a NICU nurse. While my family and my career are my passion, Outlander has become my obsession! Talking about the series with my co-workers has become my favorite pastime, and to say we are fangirls would be an understatement. I was turned on to the story first by watching the TV show; by episode three, I started reading the first book. The descriptive writing style of author Diana Gabaldon keeps me reading for hours. For me, seeing the books come to life has only enhanced the writing and keeps me wanting even more! And with the beautiful cinematography, I would love a trip to Scotland. But for now I am included in this awesome writing team who keeps me thinking……someday!

Like many of you reading this, my life changed a lot when I saw a TV show called Outlander. I watched Season 1 through the holidays in December 2015 and there was no turning back now, sassenach. I read all the books in quick succession, then waited impatiently for Dragonfly in Amber to come to our screens. I was so affected by these stories that I felt drawn to Scotland. I’m an Obsessenach who found Outlander through the STARZ TV show in 2016 after living under a graduate school rock during Season 1 and most of 2. I binged and began making my way through Diana’s captivating books which have what every good story needs – compelling characters, intrigue, danger, passion, plot twists and kilts. I fell in love – fast and hard – and, as new love often does, it inspired transformation. Amazingly, the stars aligned to support a course change and I left a longtime corporate gig, was accepted into the Outlander Cast fanmily and moved from the US Southwest to the East Coast. I have time to exercise, explore creative pursuits, travel and be present with my growing family/friends. My first and foremost job title is that of mom to my two (now-grown) daughters, but I’ve also worked as an aerospace engineer on the Space Shuttle program, website developer, artist, preschool teacher, and most recently as a personal chef and blogger. My fascination with cooking and baking came through my love of science and the magic of bringing together disparate ingredients that produce something yummy. My obsession with all things Outlander began as season 1 ended and has led me on paths I could never have imagined, from proclaiming myself an “Honorary Scot” and starting a blog about baking stories and whisky reviews called “Scotch & Scones”, to getting fitter and healthier through Sam Heughan’s My Peak Challenge. Most importantly, Outlander has given this Southern-California-girl-turned-Bostonian a circle of friends who not only share my passions, but encourage the madness!

I’m a born and bred Mid-Westerner from the suburbs of Chicago. I graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Illinois. Shortly after graduation my husband I moved to California and have made San Jose our home for almost 30 years. I worked in high tech public relations for about 10 years before I stayed home to raise my two boys.  My oldest is in college and my youngest is a sophomore in high school. For the last 14 years I have been an avid volunteer at school and at church. My passions as of late are travel, books, my rescue dogs, mental health advocacy, working out and Outlander. I am obsessed with everything Outlander. I was introduced to this series some 13 years ago from a coworker, plowed through the 1st 6 books in about 5 months and continue rereading. When I first heard this series was being developed for TV I was rather skeptical, you know how Hollywood can be but with this great team of writers, cast and crew we got a quality show. I started my career as an elementary school teacher eventually earning my Master of Science in Computer Science. After 37 years in IT, surviving long commutes particularly the winter of 2015, I decided to retire. I packed my bags and went to Scotland on an Outlander adventure. In 2017 a 12 day safari in Tanzania was on my travel agenda. I am not sure what 2019 holds for me but I hear Scotland calling my name … who knows where I will…

Lisa discovered the Outlander novels in 2004 and has not stopped re-reading since. When the TV show was released she went looking for a good podcast and luckily found Mary and Blake and Outlander Cast plus a wonderful online community on Facebook in the Clan Gathering. Joining the Clan Gathering helped her fall further down the rabbit hole and she found herself going to Outlander conventions, getting together with Clan friends in real life, and meeting our beloved Diana Gabaldon and other actors from the show. Her favorite character from the novels is Lord John Grey, her favorite books are Brotherhood of the Blade and MOBY, and her favorite actor from the TV series is Tobias Menzies. Besides All Things Outlander, Lisa loves Disneyland, baking, and Siamese cats. Lisa lives in Encinitas with her husband of 28 years and visits her two grown daughters in Phoenix regularly.

Rachel is Outlander loving girl from San Diego, currently completing her dietetic internship to become a registered dietitian. She first learned about Outlander when her Mom expressed interest in reading the books before the first season released; she bought the books the next day and the rest is history! As a younger reader and viewer, Rachel hopes to bring a different perspective to the story and characters we love. Born in her own version of Fraser’s Ridge in the foothills of North Carolina, Lindley is currently living and working in the theatre industry in New York City after graduating from the South Carolina School of the Arts. She spends most of her free time singing, reading, writing, going to the movies, and cosplaying. This Jersey girl’s obsession began in 2012 when Starz announced plans to adapt the best-selling time travel book series, “Outlander”. I thought, “Time travel? … How have I missed these books?” Curious, I reached for the stones, and I was transported. By the show’s premiere, I had consumed all Diana Gabaldon ever wrote …twice. My background lies in Public Relations, studying audiences, communication and motivations. So, how could I resist Diana’s rich characters, grasp of perspective and fantastic dialogue? As Lord John says, “Ambrosia..” I found a home at Outlander Cast during season one. Mary and Blake fed my addiction and provided a platform to share insights and build treasured friendships. Tori Carpenter, 24, is an upcoming graduate of Kent State University with a degree in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations. She has a passion for creativity and a love for all things Outlander. She discovered the STARZ hit series in March of 2020 and, subsequently, the book series. It offered an escape during a time when the entire world felt isolated. She currently resides in Northeast Ohio in her family home, an 1876 farmhouse, where she grew up with an appreciation for history. She is a nanny for four-year old twins and a photographer in her free time.
