Prior to 2016, my life was amazing and I seemed to be managing it all pretty well until I grabbed the remote, browsed through my new premium channel lineup, and was accidentally transported to 1743 Scotland. Just like that I had found a new obsession and it didn’t end with the television screen. Outlander seeped into every nook and cranny of my life and it’s not an exaggeration to say that it has changed everything. The love of Outlander has made me do things, say things, think about things, and go places that I would have never imagined. It has sleep-deprived me, made me uncomfortable, and caused a steady trickle of funds out of my bank account. Outlander has also led me to friends that I would have, otherwise, never known. Writing for Outlander Cast has brought its own kind of joy. As if writing blog posts isn't enough fun, I get to interact with other fans through social media to discuss and debate those posts. Sometimes I have to pinch myself and ask if this is all really happening.

I’m not a therapist. I thought it would be helpful to get that out in the open right now so that you can take everything that follows with a grain of salt or an excellent single malt whisky. Hey, I’m not here to judge how you process your information. With...
I love love. There I said it. When I was younger, I was in love with the fairy tale kind of love; the kind where the prince swoops in at the last second to save the day, kiss the princess, and carry her away to their happily ever after. What...
