A Moment to Shift Our Focus

Here at Outlander Cast, we may seem to be of one mind about things, and those are all things ‘Outlander’.  But there are times, like today, when we need to shift our focus and look at the broader picture.

Take a moment to stop voting for things.  Stop posting about the cast and the crew and the entire show, for that matter.  Take your hands off your phones or your tablets or your keyboards, fold them in front of you and . . . if it’s your thing, say a prayer for all of those effected by the horrible events in Paris, today.  If it’s not your thing, pause for a moment to think about the ones who’s lives were lost, those injured and the one’s you love.  There will be a time for anger and vitriol.  This is not that time.

Now is a time to mourn.

We should not mourn the losses today because they happened in any particular city, to any particular people.  We should mourn them because they happened to fellow humans, no matter what race, religion or creed.
